In Denmark we currently (at the time of writing) use way too many English words, when talking about informatics and computers in general. This mailing list is for discussion and creation of Danish words used when talking about informatics (algorithms, datastructures, etc.) and computer hardware and software. It is lead by the (small) organization Dansk Datanomisk Sprognaevn. (This list was previously called datanomi@freelists.org)

DFA Resource

This mailing list is a part of implementation of the Daisy for All Project. The DAISY For All Project was conceived by the standing committee of the DAISY Consortium on the developing countries. The objective of the project is to encourage production and dissemination of Digital Talking Books in the developing countries and to provide information in accessible format to the persons with blindness in developing countries in their local languages. This would be done through creation of content in the local language and developing playback and talking book authoring tools in local languages.
