The list is open to all people interested in medical device technology, and the life cycle management of medical devices, including, but not limited to, Hospital BmE department personnel, University students/Lecturers, Manufacturers and suppliers.

Geospatial Science

In this age of convergence scientific research is becoming a fusion of several disciplines. The field of geospatial information systems is also subject to this phenomenon. In order to address this complex, multidisciplinary milieu it is necessary that professionals from contributing disciplines come together on a common platform to discuss current issues and share their experiences and so contribute to this enormous body of knowledge. Keeping this in view 'Geospatial Science Forum' has been initiated by GIS Development that aims to be a facilitator for GIS Science. This mailing list is a part of this initiative, that aims to be a platform for dissemination of information related to Geographic Information Science - related news, events, workshops and more. Eventually this list aims to be a leading platform for discussions in the area of GIScience.

OPINION WG3: Data & Application

OPINION is a network of over a hundred and fifty researchers across and beyond Europe, who are interested in methods and tools for the study of opinionated text (www.opinion-network.eu). Within this network, the Application & Data working group will address the persistent lack of cumulative experience and gold standards in data management, analysis and validation practices for research on opinionated text. We will establish a virtual Computational Communication Lab to render available key data sets for cross-lingual and comparative validation and benchmarking, develop critical gold standards for data handling and validation, and provide targeted guidance for the integration and tailored application of tools and resources. Facilitating the evidence-based selection, adaptation and user-friendly application of tools, we aim to enable inter-disciplinary research on opinions in the digital age. OPINION is funded by COST (www.cost.eu/Actions/CA21129/) under the Horizon Europe research funding programme.
