We are setting up of relatives of residents of Broadmead Resthome, which has a speciality for Dementia. The aims of the relatives group are; Below is a summary of suggested aims of the group. - a voluntary support group for relatives (and close friends / carers) of Broadmead residents - to support and inform relatives - to share information, visiting / care tips - to help ânewâ relatives overcome sense of guilt and anxiety - to help ânewâ relatives familiarise themselves with Broadmead - to offer practical help to ânewâ relatives - to create an admission information pack - to host guest speakers occasionally (staff, others on Dementia, etc) - to provide knowledgeable advice - to help with trips and fund raising, although this is not the main aim of the group

Dynamic Family Tree User Group
The 'DftCom2' Compiler inputs and parses a file of genealogical data in 'Gedcom' format and automatically produces a 'Dynamic Family Tree' website. The 'Dynamic Family Tree' (DFT) is implemented as a Java Applet with very fast response to user actions. The list is administered by the author of the DFT and enables users to request/offer help on using the program and to discuss possible program enhancements. The list will also be used by the author to distribute the 'DFT Newsletter' which is used to announce program updates etc.
The purpose of the list is so that visually impaired people are able to discuss all aspects of Say-MAGic. Say-MAGic allows a visually impaired user (or anyone who wishes to use display management technology to help with reading difficulties) to talk to the computer using a natural voice and to gain speech and visual feedbac,.
