rsars-council: RSARS Council

The Royal Signals Amateur Radio Society has approximately 1000 members, mainly in the United Kingdom, but also spread across other countries, in particular, Canada, Australia, India, etc. The Society's members are all amateur radio operators, an it encourages its members to experiment with amateur radio in various ways, eg data modes, radio propagation, antennas, operating techniques, morse code, etc. It runs several contests per year.

The Society's web site is at www.rsars.org.uk, and the form Rules are at http://www.rsars.org.uk/ELIBRARY/RSARS-RULES-MAR2010.pdf

The Society is run by a Council of approximately 12 members some of whom have secific roles, eg editor of the 4 monthly Journal distributed to all members, QSL bureau, etc. The proposed list is so that Council Members can easily discuss matters as they arise. It will replace one already being used on a different server which is likely to close shortly.
