The RX8 stand alone editor is for the most part accessible. It is
similar to Audacity in fact.
The Assistant is nice for an initial clean up of your recording
(denoising, declipping, declicking etc in one go).
The plug-ins expose all their values as parameters (e.g. in Reaper).
However, RX8 won't run in Audacity since it is 64-bit (I use those
from RX7 for that).
Same for Sooth 2, lots of parameters but only about three controls are
essential for daily work.
Spiff, from the same company is also fine (like a transient designer
but not quite).

Hello Everyone,
Sorry if you've just seen this on a different list. I was told about a
couple of plugins and I'd like to know if they are accessible or not.
RX8 by Izotope and Soothe2 by Oeksound. If they are not accessible,
what would be a good outboard equivalent? Apologies if this is vague.
Very best wishes,
Sandra.
