I use edSharp - textPal, which was also from Jamal Masry, empowermentzone.com
is quite old nowadays, AFAIK.
But, my primary focus areas are PHP and javascript, but, edSharp is overall a
VI programmer's text editor - since think Jamal's site is still currently
offline, here's a copy of the latest stable version, if you want to have a look
at it - check out it's documentation, etc.:

Subject: [audacity4blind] Accessible editor for blind programmers from Autery
Hello everyone!!!
Could someone tell me which program editor is most accessible for a blind
person who would like to become a programmer???
This is so I could build jaws scripts and assist in the production of
audacity and other programs etc.
So far this is what I have:
1.
TextPal
2.
Crimson Editor
3.
ConTEXT
By Eden Kirin,
Thanks in advance!!!
