Tony, you don't say what version of Audacity you are using, but we
recommend the latest 1.3.13 Beta:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
You can check your current Audacity version at Help > About Audacity.
If you obtain the installer version of 1.3.13 (.exe for Windows), you
should as Diane says then have the Manual installed, and it will be
found at Help > Manual (in web browser).
If you already have 1.3.13 but obtained the zip version, that does
not include the Manual. In that case you can download the 1.3.13
