David, you are correct about the Mac Mini not having been updated for four
years or so. I was recently tempted to buy one and share its talents between
the Mac OS and Windows. However, I cannot justify spending the sort of money
Apple charges for a machine so far behind in specs. There are rumours about an
update but, as Apple does so well, nothing is confirmed.

Hi Matt,
the information I've just sent to Peter is relevant to your question.
Also, in case you're not aware, my understanding is that the mac mini hardware
has not be updated for several years. Current intel cpus have more cores for
the same money. Hopefully they will be updated in the near future.
David.

Hi folks.
I'm looking into getting a mac mini.
The Core I7, 16 gigs of ram, and the 512 SSD.
Just wondered if audacity would work with that?
Is there a guide for the mac version?
also in the future, I want to play with logic.
