I am not familiar with beats audio. Is that a USB audio device like a headset
or something? Or, is that a brand of soundcard?

A friend of mine is using her new laptop to record some music from ITunes
into audacity. Unfortunately her laptop has this beats audio smiley face eq
that is applied to everything before it hits the speakers. So her recording
sounds drastically different than the source material. Have any of you
figured out an eq setting in audacity that would counter act this? I know
beats audio can be turned off in the computer registry but I'm not smart
enough to do it myself or guide her through it. I'm definitely more of an
audio guy than a computer guy.
