I thought I had done that, but will check again.

It could be saving in the Audacity folder. If you have reinstalled or newly
installed Audacity on a new computer, it defaults there. When exporting/saving,
redirect it to the folder of your choice.

Hello,
I have not tried to do this in quite some time, but I am finding out
now I cannot do this.
I used to do the following:
1. Open up Audacity, I used to do this with Jaws but am now using
NVDA.
2. Control-O to go to a folder list, find the tune whose pitch I
want
to change, then pressing enter.
3. The pitch change process goes wel, but I run into problems when
trying to export the mp3 file whose pitch I have just changed.
4. I used to press control-shift-E to save the file, and that seems
to
work.
5. When exiting the program, I was always asked if I wanted to save
the project. I always said No, because I had already saved my file.
I have double-checked the file location where I want to save,
seemingly saving my file with the pitch change, but not happening.
Any ideas on this one?
