Hi Gary and all My suggestion for displaying the guide are: 1. We would add a default URL to current Audacity help.2. Add an input box for users to change if there are any newer guide, and we haven't update yet.

It is not possible to put headings in thevirtual buffer like an HTML page. I could add a key to launch the page forDavid's guide (or a link in the audacity hotkey help)-- except that when a new guide comes out either the old guide would have to still be there, wewould have to change the script for the new URL, or maybe the current guide could be at a fixed URL, like Audacity-Guide.html, and if the older ones are still posted they could be at something like Audacity-2.0.2-Guide.html. Wecould also put the URL in the config file so someone could edit it by editing the jsi file, or maybe add a keystroke that would let you edit it. I can do it, but ittakes alot time, and Gary and Me might have some difficulty if there are anynew keystrokes we want to add. Thanks.----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Campbell" <campg2003@xxxxxxxxx>To: <audacity4blind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2013 11:28 AM Subject: [audacity4blind] Re: JAWS Script for Audacity 2.0RC, Guinea Pigs WantedHi all, I haven't heard much feedback on the scripts. It seems that could mean: 1. Almost noone has tried them. 2. Everybody loves them. 3. I'm too impatient and you need more time. Are they too chatty? (Robbie, I think you indicated too much chatter slows you down?) Is the play/record/paused status working for everyone? (Preparing to heave big sigh of relief!) Has anyone tried installing into multiple versions of JAWS? Have you tried uninstalling? Is the behavior okay? Has anyone tried the Just Scripts install? Is the behavior okay? Is anyone using the scripts with a version of JAWS prior to 10.0? Is anyone using a version prior to JAWS 9.0? How do the Audacity options in Adjust JAWS Verbosity (JAWSKey+v) work? Can anyone tell me where scompile.exe is on Windows 7 64-bit? Re: the import warning dialog: Is there a reason to continue to support previous versions of Audacity, likeV2.0.0 or 2.0.1? Are there people who don't want to upgrade for some reason? Thanks.
