Hi Jack

I would add just one comment to David’s comprehensive list of resources.  
Audacity, at least on Windows, has the rare distinction of being very largely 
accessible without additional plugins regardless of chosen screen reader.

Yes, my student has a PC.  I really appreciate the resources.  Currently, he is 
my weatherman on my school's daily newscast.  We are working on speaking voice 
and personal awareness.  He is really great with podcasts, so getting him 
started with Audacity will give him the ability to edit his work.  We are in a 
rural town in Missouri, so resources for him are very limited.  I am reaching 
out everywhere to find things for him.
