1. No, I don't think there is an autoupdate feature.
2. It's located somewhere in the preferences dialog (Edit menu >

A couple of questions about audacity:
1. Is there a way to automatically update audacity to its latest
version without having to do it manually?
2. After pressing control plus shift E to export the audio and

having chosen to name the file and the
-- desired settings, when I press enter, another dialog box comes
up
asking for things like tag artist, metadata, etc. Is there a way
to
disable this dialog box?
