Hi Andrew and Sandra
Perhaps I should have said a little more to start off with.
I have a choice of 2 pcs from which to record the skype calls, 1 being a Lenovo
laptop with a realtech onboard sound card and the other being a desktop with an
internal soundcard and 2 creative live xfi titanium cards also therein.
I wanted to use my Blue Snowball USB Mic as and input mic and I obviously also
don’t want to miss out on the other side of the conversation too.
Will recording skype with audacity be possible on both PCS under the
circumstances?
Regards
Sameer

Sameer, the short answer is yes. The longer answer, especially in relation to
the screen reader, is that it depends on the sort of equipment you have. If
you only have one sound card you will probably have to select “what you hear”
or “stereo mix” as the source.
There is software better suited to recording Skype calls, some free and some
not. But, under the right circumstances, it can be done with Audacity.

Subject: [audacity4blind] RECORDING SKYPE CALLS
Hi all
Is it possible to record skypecalls with Audacity and if so, how is it done?
Can I for example control whether or not it reads my screanreader whilst
recording the skype call?
Your kind assistance will be greatly appreciated.
