So sorry
If you don't use Jaws script but want to adjust the selection, then ctrl+f6
once to go to the selection toolbar, then tab to access the selection start and
selection end.

OK. So I'll answer you once because I'm free now.
  1. Select just a part that contain noise
Press the left bracket key to mark the start selection, then play until you
want to finish selecting,, then press right bracket
Press spacebar to stop, then spacebar again to play the part you've just
selected
  2. adjust the selection if needed
If you use Jaws and Jaws script, then press Ctrl+left bracket twice to go to
the start selection, or Ctrl+right bracket twice to go to the end selection,
then adjust the time range
  3. Menu Effect ->noise removal. a dialog appears, press alt+g to activate a
button called Get noise profile
  4. Select whole track you want to remove noise, then activate noise removal
effect again. I don't have more expiriences about its control, so I suggest you
to find the ok button and activate it
  Hope that helps
  Cuong.

All right, thanks very much. Still, in audacity to select just that little
small part, in order to creat a noise profile seems to me almost impossible, as
it always gets selected more than needed. Now how that would work?
Sorry guys, I know this questions might have been answered every now and
then, but I was inactive for a while.

One of the best ways to remove breathing noise is start by using a good
quality microphone, no, I'm not talking some high dollar job, a good desent
microphone. Also use a pop filter with said microphone. You can purchase these
from a meriod of places off of the internet or you can even make your own using
old socks which have been washed, pantie hose which have never been wearn, etc.
After doing those things to start. Then look at the suggestions outlined in the
earlier post which have been pointed out below. A good quality microphone to
start, & learning how to properly talk in to said microphone, will go a long
way to reducing the amount of post production that you have to do.
