Hi, Robbie and David,
I tried SuperNova some months ago. It was not better than when David tried that
programme some years ago.
Kind regards,
Loek.

Hi Robbie,
I tried using Audacity with SuperNova a few years ago, and it was completely
unusable. No idea if things are any better now.
Just to add to what Andrew has said about Window-eyes. One area where it isn't
very good is in keyboard preferences. Windows-eyes can't read the tree view,
but it can read if view by name or key is set, though it does repeat each line.
I try to keep an eye on the accessibility of Audacity with Jaws, NVDA, and
Window-eyes. I've no idea how many people use supernova or cobra, but I don't
think they have the equivalent of a 30/40 minute mode, which would make support
more difficult.
David.

Hi all!
In preparation for a workshop on Audacity I’d like to find out if people can
process my material regardless of their choice of screen reader, or if there
are limits with certain screen readers.
Does anyone use Audacity with WindowEyes, Cobra or SuperNova? If so, I’d like
to hear about your experiences. Do you find that your respective screen reader
speaks the track status, Solo, Mute, Selected? Can you manage effect dialogues?
Can you access and manipulate the Select toolbar? If applicable, does your
Braille display show the content of edit fields?
I’d be grateful for any input on this.
Thanks! Robbie
