I use version 2.1.03 on my MacBook Pro.
It works fine. A similar experience to the Windows version, but admittedly a
little behind in being the latest and greatest, but it meets my needs.

Hi all,
Recently I have started teaching myself to use the Mac. I want to teach
myself to use audacity on the Mac. However, I have read that the latest
version of audacity is not accessible with voiceover. I downloaded a version
of audacity that is supposed to be screen reader friendly. Unfortunately, I
can’t even open that version of audacity on the Mac. I can open the regular
version of audacity on the Mac but it’s not very accessible. What’s going on?
I had to override my privacy and security settings just to open this
accessible version of audacity. That didn’t help. Apparently, audacity is
just an accessible to the Mac now all around. Can anyone help?
Are there tutorials for using audacity with the Mac? How can I download them?
Any help you guys can give would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Victor
