Hi, I use audacity with windows 8.1 and there’s no problem. It’s very fast.

Hello everyone,
Ever since I upgraded to Audacity version 2.5, I’ve noticed that it runs
painfully slow on my 8.1 machine. When I used it on my xp machine, it was fast.
But now its practically a pain in the rump to use because it runs so slow on
this system. Has this happened to anyone else running windows 8.1 with audacity
2.5?
