this is a tutorial I did a few years ago. I haven't used more recent versions
of Audacity and not everything may still apply but almost everything will.
Although I haven't used recent versions, I'm sure the kinds of things discussed
in my tutorial are still the same or almost identical. I did my tutorial using
an early 2.x version.

There is one error I'll address here. I said that you have to save a vile
before editing it. Whether that was ever true in the past, it isn't true now,
based on comments I've seen from users.
To download the tutorial go to
http://www.accessibleworld.org
and use the search form on the page to search for the word Audacity. You will
find, in the results, a presentation I did that covers the basics of Audacity
and of Mp3 Direct Cut.

Maybe we need some sort of list of tutorials that can be provided on request or
that links ar given for on an Internet page that can be linked to in the
footers of mail from the list.

It would be good to be able to find tutorials for both beginners, and for
those who already know..

Hello:

I think all of us would benefit from tutorials for beginners and more
advanced users. Good tutorials on MP3 would be great if anyone offers them.
If so, please post the links to our list.

Thanks,

Victor
