[audacity4blind] error while opening sound device

A computer at my school has been dedicated to music.
Unfortunately many teachers use it to do something.
so when I wanted to record with my faithful audacity, the program has sent this
message:
"error while opening sound device. please check the input device settings and
the project sample rate."
What can I do?
