Hi David!
I'd find that extremely useful. I've just finished work on a project with 50
odd tracks. To align them I frequently had to arrow up or down 20 or more
tracks. I kept wishing for just such a feature.
Also, a while ago I requested a feature allowing the insertion of a track in a
specific place. Steve then suggested an option to insert a track under the
lowest selected track. That also would be a most welcome feature when handling
large track tables.

Robert recently wrote about some additional keystrokes provided by an NVDA
plugin he is working on:
1. keystrokes to move the focus to the first or last track. Could be ctrl+home
and ctrl+end, or ctrl+up arrow and ctrl+down arrow.
2. keystrokes to move the focus three tracks at a time up or down. page up and
page down.
Just wondered how must interest there would be in having these built into
audacity so that they could be used by all keyboard users.
