I actually downloaded, installed it and moved the .dll into the Audacity
plugins folder, enabled it and still, it doesn't show up in the main effects
list at all. It showed in the list to enable it, but not after I restart
Audacity and then try to apply it to a track. And it is the 64 bit version of
Audacity.

What do you mean with "same result"?
1. Did you install the plugin that I've provided?
2. Did you download the 64-bit Audacity version?
You will probably have to copy the installed dll file from the normal
VSTPlugins folder (e.g. under program files\steinberg) to the Audacity plug-in
folder.
Here's the path it has been installed on my system:
"C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\ReverbSolo.dll"
However, I suggest that you download the free reverb directly from Acon
Digital, search for Reverberate Basic in the list and click on it, the three
download options will pop up.
https://acondigital.com/downloads/
It's somewhat comparable to the other plug-in except that the first parameter
has three discreet reverb types (plate, room, hall) while the reverb.com
version has a contineous slider that goes from short bright to long dark.
After copying or moving, you have to enable it in Audacity.

I’ve tried both and I get the same result. I’ve sent an email to
someone at reverb.com and have yet to hear from them. I got some kind
of funky delivery status error there was some kind of delay. Don’t
know what that was about. May try to chat with them again and get
answers. The delivery error message I got said attempts to send the
message would be sent for 47 more hours and that time may or may not have
elapsed by now. We’ll see.
I’ll try to reach out again and I’ll let you know what I find out. If
you come up with anything in the meantime, just let me know. Thanks a lot.
