I have noticed few messages asking for resources or tutorials to learn
Audacity, and I need to mention two resources to those who may not be aware
of them:
The first is an excellent text tutorial written by David Bailes for JAWS
users. And although it is aimed at jaws users, though it is perfectly fine
for the users of other screen readers, since the concepts are almost the
same and it assumes that no specific scripts are installed. You can read it

the Second is a series of audio tutorials Produced by Jim Gamage for the
talking computers magazine. And although it goes back to 2014 I believe, I
think it is very useful for those who want to get started with Audacity, but
try to take note of the differences between versions of audacity, for
example, at that time, the keystroke to stop and move cursor was shift plus
a, now it is x, additionally, accessibility of audacity is improving, so if
something wasn't working in these tutorials, it might have been fixed in a
