You can both listen to the music track while you are recording and
hear your voice while you are recording (if you want to), but you
must ensure you are recording from the "microphone" source, not
from stereo mix. Otherwise, you will record the music and an 
"echoey" copy of your singing mixed together, instead of just your 
voice without any echoes. 

If the music plays too loud while you are recording, turn down the
Audacity output slider.
