Hi Lissi!

This sounds like a hilarious book. We have a friend who is a cat lover. Perhaps we could buy this book for her for next Christmas. She's sighted.

Today or soon, watch for, A Cat?s Christmas by Stefanie Samek, to be added to the collection. It?s 180 pages of uniquely cat oriented cat-themed Christmas reading I think you?ll love! It?s got well known Christmas stories, poems and carols adapted for cats, like:

Jingle bells,

Jingle bells,

Jingle on the door,

Oh what fun it is to hear

Them crashing to the floor!

You?d expect catnip at a cat?s Christmas party, but the author, Stephanie Samek gives specific suggestions like:

?Conscientious hosts will sprinkle catnip on the welcome mat and invite visitors to roll in it--for instant Yowltide cheer.?

Following a poem about a Cat?s Christmas Wish List, the author begins a section advising cats how to hint for what they want with:

?Although kitty vitamins and dematting combs may be things you need, they're probably not the gifts you truly crave.?

There are loads of Kitty Christmas Crafts, great for a snowy afternoon or for your cat to do on a play date?

?Self-scent your presents by rubbing on them, rolling in them, licking them, and dander-infusing the contents and the wraps.?

There is even a form your upwardly mobile cat can quickly fill in to send to his or her numerous social and business acquaintances.

I hope the Booksharian cat-lovers, and anyone who enjoys whimsy with a bit of social commentary will find and enjoy our 7th Christmas offering for 2009.

Always with love,

Lissi
