Many thanks Monica.I once knew of this site, but that was when I was younger and the brain was much more agile.

Hi Ann. Please write to support about this. They need to know that peoplecare about it. For now, if you want to share a link for a book with someone, you can remove everything after the book's number. For example, a link for the book Devil's Island would look like http://www.bookshare.org/browse/book/28207 I just use my cursor keys to select that part of the address to copy and paste it into an email or Twitter. In the interest of expanding knowledge here, all you have to do to make a TinyUrl is copy the address you want to shorten to your clipboard, go to http://tinyurl.com and paste the address in the edit box on that page. Choose submit. The page will give you a TinyUrl that you can use. The URL disignations on the Bookshare web site are almost as bad as those on Amazon. They extend over three lines in some cases, making it totally impossible to use them effectively in email. I have had occasion to want to place the URL fora specific book in an email announcement. When I paste in the URL for the thing, it's something likeone hundred and sixtey chars long! I just got the newsletter with the URLs for all the articles and the whole message is nothing but numbers, making itdifficult to read. Some people use tiny URL, but I don't know how to use it. Anhybody have anyideas about how to solve this one? Ann P. -- AAnn K.
