Hi. You know, needing special scanning software is one of the barriers I've run into when trying to recruit sighted volunteers. They don't want to buy it, and I can't blame them since they can see and don't really need it. It would be awesome if Bookshare could come up with a way to provide even a stripped down OEM version of FineReader or Omnipage to sighted volunteers for the purpose of getting books into the collection. We actually need more sighted volunteers because some types of books can't be scanned well by a totally blind person.
