Hi, Jim. You're right. There is a lot I can do while not being able to scan. We do have quite a list of books to validate. I don't think we ever catch up on validations since scanning takes less time than validating. I'm encouraged by the fact that I saw 308 books on step 1 last night since we were up to an average of around 400 books last summer. That tells me that we've got some active validaters this year. I'm excited to have so many people helping out. So between validating and cleaning up my own scans, there's a lot I can do while not being able to scan. Who knows? Maybe I'll even make time to update my blog.
