Nope not really.  Except perhaps using a different OCR engine,  I knotice 
that Scansoft Or Omnipage doesn't put as much junk in.

I usually delete that stuff.

Sometimes when scanning books the authors name and title pages appear in a 
different font or with little designs around them, and as a result of one or 
both the text so enclosed or designed comes out rather gibberish. Like this:
pays of

B^OOp

and

R Novel of the Westlands

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
