How about before a title of a section? The answer is no, correct? What
happened to my book, The Dance: A Novel by Dan Walsh and Gary Smalley. Do
you want me to submit the book again?

Hi Barbara,
Asterisks should be used to show breaks in the text. Unless it’s totally confusing by the title of the section you don’t need to add any asterisks in. For example, if there’s a doodad in the text to show a change between narrators, I’d add three asterisks. I would not add three asterisks before: Chapter Three.
Hope that helps!
Best,
Madeleine

Madeleine,
Do you want us to put asterisks before sections and subsections in the books?
