If you are currently a student or plan to be soon, something cool is happening on Tuesday that you need to know about. If you're a teacher or faculty member of a school, Tuesday night will make your job easier and keep your students happy. You're going to get a rare chance to personally talk directly with Bookshare staff to find out how to get school accounts and group accounts for easy access to Bookshare. If you're trying to get your school to set up Bookshare access for you, you're going to get your chance to get info on how to explain to your school's staff how school accounts work and get tips on explaining why the group account arrangement will meet some of your school's pressing needs. In fact, you can invite your favorite resource teacher, special needs counselor, principal, or local librarian to join you so they can hear about this firsthand. They can drop by from the convenience of their easy chair with cold drink in hand. No jacket and tie required! How often do you get to ask staff about something like this? And you thought this was just another press release, right? (grin) Check this out!
