Oops, meant to include a note mentioning thatI'm wasn't trying to dodge your
question, but there's a lot more to understand about handling names on the
form, so it's better if you look through the tip.  That's why it's out
there.  To not only answer the questions you can think of about filling in
the form, but to answer ones you wouldn't have thought of.

Barbara,

 

Go read the tip I pointed you to on Jake's website titled something like
Guidelines For Submission Fields.  It contains all that info.  That's why I
said you definitely need to read it. It contains tips on how to prevent your
validations from being kicked back because the form wasn't filled in
properly.

When I submit a book, do I type the first name of the author on the author
line first, or do I enter the last name of the author first, or doesn't it
matter? I just submitted a book and I entered the author's first name,
first. Is that okay?
