The Complete Jewish Bible is now in the collection. This might be a helpful
Bible for theological students. This file is the only completely accessible
version available. It took me hours and hours and hours of work to get this
Bible into an acceptable shape. I hope you like it:
Â
Title: Complete Jewish Bible
Copyright Date: 1998
Author: David H. Stern
Copyright Holder: David H. Stern
Publisher: JEWISH NEW TESTAMENT PUBLICATIONS, INC.
ISBN: 978-1-4507-0543-1
Short Synopsis: The following quotation is taken from the back cover of the
book: "Why is this Bible different from all other Bibles? Because it is the
only English version fully Jewish in style and presentation. It includes Dr.
Sternâs new version of the Tanakh (âOld Testament") and his highly acclaimed
Jewish New Testament."

Long Synopsis: The following quotations are taken from the back cover of the
book: "The Complete Jewish Bible follows the Hebrew Bible order of the Tanakhâs
books, the order with which Yeshua (Jesus) was familiar"; "makes no separation
between "Old" and âNewâ Testamentsâ; "corrects mistranslations in the New
Testament resulting from anti-Jewish theological bias"; "offers the original
Hebrew names for people, places, and concepts. using easy-to-read English
transliterations"; "focuses on Messianic prophecy"; and it "gives the
traditional weekly and holiday synagogue readings, plus relevant readings from
the Bârit Hadashah (New Testament)." The author hopes to "reconnects Christians
with their Jewish roots and the Jewish people" and to "connects Jews with the
Jewishness of Messiah Yeshua and Messianic faith." Besides the unique
translation, the author gives "a comprehensive introduction, a pronouncing
explanatory glossary, a reverse glossary and
special maps to aid Bible understanding." In summary,: "The complete Jewish
Bible shows that the Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, is a unified
Jewish book meant for everyone--Jew and non-Jew alike."
Comments: I added words and explanations in brackets when necessary to make the
content more understandable to the blind readers.
