Hi, Monica,
The Blanche books are about a black woman who is raising some children who are not her own but related--nephews, nieces, I forget. She cleans houses for people and has all kinds of mystery-related adventures featuring family, friends etc. It's been awhile since I read one of these, so I may have a bit of it wrong, but they're good.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Books About Blanch

Hi. I've been seeing several books in Openbook format with titles like Blanch Cleans Up and Blanch On The Lamb. Does anyone know anything about these books? They have no synopsis with them. Since I don't have k1000 and can't rank spelling, I'm hesitant to take them because I have no idea of what I'll find. They've been around for quite some time, and I should probably stop avoiding them. I think I'd feel better about committing to work on them if I knew why people are taking and putting them back. They appear to be a series, and I'm sure the submitter would like to see them approved. Does anyone have thoughts to share?
