Hi, Barbara,

The meeting in Los Angeles is only because of the CSUN
conference. People come from all over the country, and
so booksharians who are there can meet together. There
are displays from all kind of venders, and I think
lectures and things. It's nice for people to meet. I
live in L.A. and the hotel where the displays and
where most people stay is not too far from me--near
the airport. Last year and the year before I was able
to drop by one day and meet some of our fellow
volunteers for coffee one year and for lunch another.
Unfortunately, this year I'll be out of town--and I
couldn't go to the meeting in the eveningm though I;d
have liked to and been able to meet many more who were
there.

The CSUN conference is held every year in March. If
you can't get down there this year, maybe you'll be
able to go next year. It looks as if the weather will
be warm, and the hotel has a swimming pool people took
advantage of.

Cindy
