Julie From the Step 1 Download page: What would it be like if we took the best of the Roman Catholic, the best of the Protestant and the best of the Pentecostal and put it all together?" Action: SUBMIT Date: 2004-09-21 20:20:52-07 User: Nicholas Wilcox And the irony from the book's title page: © Copyright 2000 Institute for Christian Renewal® All Rights Reserved So The Institute, which is located in New Hampshire, claims a copyright but didn't take the additional step of recording it with the Library of Congress copyright office. However, legally speaking, they can still enforce that right in a court of law; but, apparently for purposes of BookShare, that lack of formal registration makes the book unacceptible into the collection. My question then is why Gustavo, rather than rejecting the book, returns it to Step 1. What kind of verification, as the Library of Congress can provide none, would he deem acceptible. And, if no other verification is acceptible, the book should be rejected. I won't bother Gustavo at this point as he is at the ACB convention in Vegas this week, but I'll bounce him this email next week and ask him to respond either privately or via the list. The book, after almost a year, should either go into the collection be turned down.
