You are correct in saying no and keeping the file in rtf when at all possible.Beware of keeping any material on the flash disk. Back up the file you are working on in the braillenote to another directory thus keeping two copies of the rtf file. The braillenote sometimes destroys files so just do lots of backups and you will be fine.

When I exit the file on the Braillenote, and it asks me if I want to save in Keysoft, should I say Yes or No, to keep my file in RTF? My thought is to say No, because I want to be able to switch freely between validating with the PC or the Braillenote, and I don't want to risk messing up the file format. Is there anything I should beware of, using the BN to validate? Thanks. Tracy
