I too am using Kurzweil 8 at the moment, and what you want is available. First, go into the "Settings" menu with alt T, and then arrow down to the "display" option and push enter. the shortcut is D. Now tab five times to the sixth control. It will say something like "use of a single specified font". I'm guessing you have it disabled, and probably want to enable it. You enable it by pushing the spacebar. Now, if you want to, tabbing once more will allow you to pick the font type you want to use, and once more after that will let you pick the size. Of course, once you're done you simply tab over to the "OK" button and push spacebar. If these are settings you'll want to use in other occasions and not want to set them up over again, you'll have to save your settings. This is done by going into the "settings" menu with alt T again, and arrowing down to "save settings". The shortcut in this case is V. It will open a dialog box asking you what you want to name the settings file. If this is a setting you'll want to use in a majority of the time, I'd say it's easiest to simply save it in the default file. "Default" is already written in this edit field, so all you have to do is push enter. If you however do not want it in the default settings, but may want the settings available at some other time, you type in a different file name and push enter. All should work well now.
