Dear Shelley,

I hope you didn't mind my monkey business. You look nothing like a chimp, or eagle or otter or centipede or tiger. You've been such an advocate for animal books, both factual and fictional. I think, "Shelley," any time I notice a good book about furry, feathered, even scaly creatures. A lovely, lady Doctor Do Little might look like you.

I'm going back to practicing spinning around on my knuckles and heels with my eyes closed until I'm dizzy, like a playful chimp!

Always with love,

Lissi

That would definitely be a good book to add to the colllection.

Smile.

For the record, I DON'T look like a monkey, smile.

Though I do smile a lot.

the more stuff we have on different animals the better in my opinion, smile.

Dear Shelley and Volunteer Friends,

Shelley, it would sound funny and not what I mean if I said I saw a picture
of a Chimpanzee with a Mona Lisa smile on a book cover at Barnes and Noble
and thought of you! hahahah

Really what I thought is that you might be interested in this book sponcered
by the BBC, Chimpanzees social climbers of the forest by Tamsin Constable.
Since it was on the 3 for ten dollars cart I bought it on speculation and
back at my computer I found it isn't in the Bookshare collection. It's about
100 pages long with lavish color photographs, but with plenty of
intelligently written, well researched text for adult readers, or perhaps
high school students, too.

If anyone is interested in scanning this one, contact me at

accounts of their behaviour as demonstrated in their everyday activities and
interactions...latest research case studies and observation to build a
lively picture ...from the intricacies of social organization and mating
strategies to making and using tools...to inform and delight the reader.

Always with love,

Lissi
