Hey you all,

I am getting ready to submit Clear and Present Danger by Baynard Kendrick.
is the last Duncan Maclain mystery.

The copy I have isn't bad for an old book, but there are four or five spots,
where a line or two gets garbled. Wasn't the scanner's fault, the rest of
the book was beautiful.

Now... why am I writing about this. Two reasons.
1. I don't have the book anymore.
2. A rescan of the pages won't net better results.

Is there anyone who could get access to the book?

I can send the pages and the "sentences" I need fixing, is usually only a
word or two or three or maybe six, but is it. Looks like that was a
particularly badly yellowed part of the page or something.

Besides that, it is an excellent copy, with all chapters and pages accounted
for.

I may try to check the "old" copy and see if I can glean what I need from
it, but am of course hopeful, smile.

All else fails I can wait till I get back to Western and IL the book again
and have someone look at it.

But if anyone can help, visually verify things that would be wonderful.
smile.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
