Thanks, Cindy! Indeed, Grace Livingston Hill is good, and I read everything
I can get my hands on by her. Thanks for this one. Take care.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Cloudy Jewel & Spanish Lover

Not having found Cloudy Jewel in the collection or on
the most recent Marissa's List, I submitted my
corrected copy. I no longer had my synopses, but I
wrote a short synopsis and put comments I thought the
reader perhaps should see in the long synopsis.
Whoever decides to validate it can rewrite long and
short synopsis if you wish (I had to cut out some
phrases to make the short synopsis acceptable.
This is a Christian romance (Gerald, it's a perfect
example). The author is Grace Livingston Hill. For
those of you who aren't familiar with apparently she's
a well-known Christian Romance writer -- in fact, in
the online biography I read, she's considered the
"pioneer of Christian romance." Her life reads like a
Christian romance.
The book was originally written in the early 20th
century, and therefore the spelling and some
vocabulary are different. For example, words are
hyphenated that we no longer hyphenate. Although this
is a 1989 edition, nothing has been changed from the
original.

I think bookshare is blocking me out (smile). I
approved and uploaded A Spanish Lover last night but
it's not on Marissa's List, which, according to Rui,
was compiled just a few hours before he published it.
If it's still on the page 2 for some reason, I'll
upload it again. Otherwise I'll submit it and hope
there aren't two copies.

Cindy
