Nope, none of the rest of the Montana series is there. Louise, you have a
scanner. You could scan the other two. <smile>

I don't mind when I find the book interesting. I
started to fix one book that I didn't care for at all
and so I rejected it -- it had a lot of dialect and
was about the lower classes in England. The author was
Catherine Cookson, who I think has been mentioned as
Christian romance author. I have another one that
seems a bit more interesting to me, but it's long.
It's on my list.

Right now I'm working on Joanna Trollope's A Spanish
Lover. It has as many errors, some small scannos, some
missing sentence ends, but, though I'm not enjoying it
as much as I do the Bertrice Small and other
historical romances, I'm enjoying it enough to keep at
it. I hate to see the books get rejected, because I
seriously question whether they will be re-scanned --
I know they won't be by the original scanner -- so if
I can get the book and thereby know what the missing
or incorrect words are, and I enjoy reading the book,
I don't at all mind fixing them up, no matter their
shape. And I have my scanner, so I can scan missing
pages and insert them. Hope was right that there were
missing pages in Cloudy Jewel in several places, as
well as the copyright page and other pages preceding
the story that started on page 5.

So I'm not really being kind (smile). I'm benefitting.
I've come across some authors I enjoy and that I'd
never have known about if it weren't for bookshare.

Speaking of which -- A long time ago Louise asked for
the Ivan Doig series about Montana. The first one is
in the collection now. I really enjoyed that book. If
someone would scan the others, Dancing at the Rascal
Fair and Ride with Me Mariah Montana, I'd be happy to
validate them if no one else wants to. I haven't
checked, though -- maybe they're already in the
collection.
