I wouldn't do that, but that's just me. Kurzweil can work with .rtf files, 
so I don't know a reason why you would want to save it as a .kes file, but 
maybe someone knows something I'm missing. Take care.

Do you mean that when I validate a .rtf and have access to k1k I would do
well to save it as a .kes after downloading and then, just prior to upload
save the corrected kes to a rtf format for uploading?
