Kim, go to start, programs, accessories, and up arrow to wordpad. Once you are on Wordpad, press the application key, usually the second key to the right of the spacebar. This will bring up a menu press n or arrow down to the menu item that says send to. This has a pull-down or submenu. In the pull-down menu, you want to select desktop create desktop shortcut. There you go.

Hi, I want to find WordPad and put an icon for it on my desktop (computer,
not actual). How do I go about doing this as it doesn't seem to be in my
program files or if it is, it's a mystery to me where it's lurking. I'm sure
I have it, it's locating the little bugger that has me stymied. Can you
help? Regards, Kim, slightly confused.
