Hi James, According to the way we currently handle our submission and validation processes, I don't see where this new software has any impact on us. On the other hand, were we to become able to do so in the future, it would provide us a way to easily improve markup and user navigation using Microsoft Word, save out the text in DAISY format and directly submit the DAISY version for approval. I think this "Save As DAISY" option could potentially revolutionize the ease in which accessible content is created in the future. ----- Original Message ----- From: <james.homme@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 09, 2008 10:18 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Fw: Article: Microsoft Improves Word for the Blind Hi, This came over the Blind Programming list. I'm not sure what significance it has with Bookshare, so I thought I'd let someone else be the judge. Thanks. Jim ...snip...
