Online Voting Begins August 16 For more than 17 years, the Alexander Scourby Narrator of the Year Awards have honored excellence in the narration of Talking Books and celebrated the importance of Talking Books for people who are blind or visually impaired. This year, AFB is implementing the first-ever web-based Alexander Scourby Narrator of the Year Awards. From Monday, August 16, to Wednesday, September 15, you can log onto AFB's web site at www.afb.org/scourby.asp to vote for your favorite nominee in each of the three categories-Fiction, Nonfiction, and this year's special recognition category Multilingual Nonfiction. Stay tuned for more details about the online Scourby Awards ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, October 14, and will feature remarks from Carl R.
