I have to concur with E. a bit here. Not that any of us want to rant and whine. But it is true that right near the first thing you see or hear for most of us on the Bookshare Volunteer page is this: Volunteer Home Select this link to go directly to the latest Wish List (Updated soon) And having started the year with a venturing onto the Wish List and scanning several books that eventually were discovered to have been already done, it was a bit of a sad feeling of having done stuff that actually was no longer actually "wished" for! So yes, I think the list should be edited, and edited as soon as possible to prevent more new engergetic volunteers from having such an experience. Thanks. I know it is a complex programming secret but just a hint will be appreciated. All kinds of sites update all the time. What is going on that bookshare has so much trouble implementing some of these changes? Yes this is a real question and I want a real technically based or socially based or economically based (or all three) response from some type of authority who can actually do something about the lack of support for the volunteer community.
