Thanks Bookshare staff and community for the many birthday wishes on/off facebook. Had a greatt one! Started with my dad attacking my feet while wishing me happy birthday, then my IPod was cued up to my favorite trumpeter, Chris Botti, a tune called "Drive Time," played then, stopped, when someone put a plate in my hand containing a white chocolate raspberry scone, then a homemade brewed toffee caramel coffee, now that we have an esspreso maker, then my mom and sisters sang to me, then Chris via my IPod continued playing afterward. Had chicken salad sandwich for lunch, practiced trumpet for a couple hours, went to Costco with mom, then talked to one of my grandmas on the phone, then had dinner, which consisted of Mexican Lasagna my dad made, and caesar salad, then my grandparents gave me homemade butterscotch pie, for dessert, and store-bought cheese cake, all in all, it was great. Now am off to bed after I listen to Chris again. Want to go to his concert on July 15, but as always cost for decent seating for two is $175 and better seating for two is $240. Not going Chris, you can be sure of that now! I will look for concerts at Yoshi's in Oakland, or go to another concert another trumpeter friend is partaking in, more affordable. So I bet even Andrea Bocelli concerts are about that price range, probably a little more. Off to bed I go! Good night all and many thanks for the birthday wishes! -- "To me, music that breaks your heart is the music that stays with you forever. It's one thing to be melancholy and one thing to be sophisticated, but when you get the two of them together in a way people can relate to, then I think you're on to something. You want the sophistication to lie in the purity of the sound, the beauty of the arrangements, and the quality of the performances."-Trumpeter Chris Botti -- Chela Robles GoogleTalk/AIM/Twitter/MySpace/E-Mail: cdrobles693@xxxxxxxxx Skype: jazzytrumpet WindowsLive Messenger: cdrobles693@xxxxxxxxxxx Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/chela.robles I volunteer for a non-profit organization called Bookshare, to find out more go to: http://www.bookshare.org Visit my Blog Piece from RFB&D and fill out the comment form and enjoy the blog and sound clips: http://www.rfbd.org/Blog/Access-and-Achievement/144/vobId__2525/ -- To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
