Thank you, Dixie. That's lovely--and so true--and the memories of those days 
never leave--and lots of those events recur when grandmothers babysit or visit. 
smile Fortunately, for grandparents, the worries that come as the children grow 
older and start to drive and date, or perhaps have their hearts hurt in 
adolescence, aren't as immediate as when one is a mom. Those memories also 
remain. And the thrill and happiness when their hopes and dreams are fulfilled 
and goals met. We share those with our children, too.
