This is really helpful. Thank you Mary!! However, a question. What are "smart quotes"? Is that the apostrophe in braille that shows up instead of the regular quotes? I understand the apostrophe is placed around quotes within quotes, but I have fixed many a book changing apostrophes at beginning and end of quotes with the regular braille quotes. In print, are these really quotes when looked at? Curiously -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Judy s. The instructions for Kurzweil were added earlier this month, and the instructions for Word were just added at the end of this week. smile.
